Qualification: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Period of Training: 2 Years

Location : Kollam

Eligibility: BE/ B.Tech (Mech/ Electrical)

Stipend during training period: Rs.7450/- per month for the first year and Rs.8250/- for the second year of training.

Scale of Pay & Allowances
On satisfactory completion of training, the Asst. Engineer Trainees will be considered for appointment to the posts of Asst. Plant Engineer on an initial basic pay of Rs.7450/- per mensum in the scale of pay of Rs.7450 - 11475 (under revision) plus DA and other allowances.

Age as on 01.01.2008: Not above 31 years. Further relaxation will be allowed to Preferential categories among Scheduled Tribes as per rules of the Company.

General:
1. Those who are working in Govt. Dept., Public Sector undertakings, Autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel.
2. Those candidates called for interview will be paid 2nd class to & fro train fare by shortest route.
3. Since the candidates selected will have to work in rotation shifts including night, only male candidates need apply.
